Little Things Mean A Lot....

Hello, all...

"I think it's important to find the little things in everyday life
that make you happy."
Paula Cole

I have a vintage, very heavy metal and glass
GUM BALL MACHINE that makes me happy.

Today, it has M&M Peanuts in it.

MOST of the time, we have GUMBALLS
in it.....
duh....

“You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.”

Andy Warhol
"Share little things in life with your loved ones,
like happy songs and smiles !"
and maybe a gum ball or two..:>)

"HAPPY are they who take life day by day, complain very little,
and are thankful for the little things in life."

I'm not sure how old the gum ball machine is...

the lady that gave it to me said she'd had it for about 10 yrs and her friend had bought it at a thrift store several years before.

I had another one several years ago that I bought at a local store... but it was MUCH lighter..
the metal much thinner.
It's just one of those LITTLE things in life that make you smile.

xoxo, bj

  13. Fun thing to have around especially for the kids or grands. Take a lot of gumballs or M&M's to fill one of those up.
Our daughter has an antique table-top one that you have to put a nickle in to get a gumball.
Thanks for sharing your fun with us.

  23. BJ, My girls got a gumball machine for Christmas one year. I honestly do not know where it got to. Our neighbor kids used to come down with their pennies to get gum...my girls thought that was the funniest thing ever. The kids were from 4 to 7.. I thought it was pitiful, so I always let them in....the machine was for my girls to safe pennies and just have a gum once in a while. LOL. I love seeing those machines. Oh my goodness if there had been m&m's in ours , I would have been digging pennies from my purse. LOL. Blessings , xoxo,Susie

  30. BJ Hi! It has been forever since I have visited with you. I love your gumball machine. I used to visit more on the blogs but, this party is about the most I get done each week now. I babysit my nieces and nephew half of the week and their ages are 4, 2-3/4, and 11 months. They keep me busy not to mention my own three boys. Thank you for linking with Home Sweet Home!
