Hello, everyone,
Here it is time to play in some fun link parties and I am sharing a few more
GOOD FENCES at the
CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO
in Colorado Springs, Co.
This is a rock fence around some of the zoo with names of
sponsors and contributors.
I have NO IDEA who these little people are but they were so darling
and staring so intensely at what was behind that glass and fence....
which was THIS magnificent beast.
And, just take a peek at that beautiful BLUE SKY...
I am joining SKYWATCH FRIDAY.

I have to say that going to a ZOO is a mighty great place to get some
GOOD FENCE photos and some even more interesting critters behind those fences.
We even rode the MERRY GO-ROUND...
( that's my cousin's leg back there behind me.)
What an absolute ♥ fun ♥ day we had.
what a neat donor fence idea! very cute variety today (and you didn't need to slip in any sweets - they're right there in your header!!!) :)
ReplyDeleteNow did YOU get on that pony ride?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea with the names!
ReplyDeleteMost I like the photo with the lion, there so interesting shadows.
My dear husband LIVED near this zoo [the area anyway] when he was a child, growing up.
ReplyDeleteGreat stone donor wall/fence . . . I really liked that idea!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a zoo for years . . . maybe it is time!
That is SO cool! Looks like a great place to spend a day.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous pictures, BJ! The kiddos are absolutely precious :) Also, you mentioned Colorado Springs - I live a few hours away fro there :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day, sweet lady! Hugs to you!
Oh My!!! How wonderful and fabulous idea of the little stones on the fence♡♡♡ And I love the photo of the lion with big stones as well. Sure must have been a FUN day♪

Great photos. Love the fence with all the names written in the rocks. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteAs usual, you entertain us nicely with all your adventures and finds. The Merry-Go-Round would be the only ride I would get on.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great photo of your rock fence and a really cute one of the little ones looking through the glass, priceless! Looks like a great time at the zoo.
ReplyDeleteLove that rock fence. What a great idea. Great shots at the zoo. (which thankfully has good fences :)
ReplyDeleteI love the rock fence with sponsor names..what a unique idea! The merry go round is probably the only carnival ride I could manage without getting sick. LOL! And what cutie patooties you captured looking in at the animals. How sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting stone fence that is! The shot of those little people is so darn sweet! Gotta say that it's nice there are fences at a zoo! :)
ReplyDeleteThe rock fence is uniquely charming, never seen anything like it. Oh yes the king ... I love Lions, but seems every time I go to the zoo they are cat napping! C'est la Vie. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Also, many thanks for your visit to my blog.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Vera
That's a really cool fence. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is probably the last zoo I ever visited. I loved watching the chimpanzees!
ReplyDeleteI love Zoo's although I haven't been to one in years. You got some really great shots.
ReplyDeleteI love the rock fence, but I think if I were there with those zoo animals, I would be very grateful for all the OTHER fences out there.
ReplyDeleteI've been there! It's been awhile, though. But - I just love a trip to the zoo!
ReplyDeleteSweet littles ones. I wonder how long that rock fence will last with the names before the names wear off. After seeing stones in the cemetery with year of wear, the only ones that truly last are in the churches in Europe.
ReplyDeleteI must say..I love that rock fence.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the sweet hearts candy you get on Valentine's.
That's very nice to have the names of the contributors on the rocks. A good way to keep adding more. Looks like fun girlfriend! Hang on! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove the donor fence as so many other do. Those kiddos are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that contributor's fence BJ! A few places around here were offering folks a chance to have their name engraved in a brick. I thought it was a neat idea too:@)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day at the zoo. I love all the animals.. And the rock wall with the names is a great idea! Have a great evening!
ReplyDeleteI bet you felt like a kid again getting to ride the merry-go-round. Neat pictures of fences and animals and such a novel fence or wall with all the stones. Looks so interesting.

Love the idea of that stone fence and those kids are wee cuties.
ReplyDeleteDiana
the zoo was my favorite place when I was their age
ReplyDeleteLove the rock fence, what a great idea! Those wee kiddies are cute.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I always love the zoo....so neat to see all the animals. It's a bit hot here in Texas at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYou've done some really great shots!
ReplyDeleteI like the foto from the little people a lot, too ;-)
Thanks for stopping by ... Frauke
What a fun time you are having bj. Love your skies and that stone fence is awesome!
ReplyDeleteBJ, I've only been to Colorado Springs once. Didn't know there was a zoo (would not have had time to go anyway). Love that rock wall! I remember, I loved the CS airport! And the Broadmoor was sheer heaven.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool fence! I saw a rock from over here!!!

The photo of the kids is soooo cute. That's a very cool idea that zoo did for honoring its donors.
