Another GOOD IDEA for a tiny Christmas gift....

Hello, dear hearts...
We were talking about Christmas gifts the other day, and a lot of us were asking for good ideas on some of the smaller-type gifts...
you know, for friends, your hair dresser, postman, teachers...etc.
This is a former post that I thought about and decided to let it have
ROUND 2...

I've been noticing lots of ladies...probably WORKING ladies, that's mentioned they really want to give HOMEMADE goodies to some family and friends at this joyful time of year.... but just DON'T HAVE THE EXTRA TIME needed to bake or cook.....
...been there......done that !!

Well, ladies, these little loaves of GOODNESS comes from my local GROCERY STORE BAKERY and they are DELIGHTFUL and DELICIOUS.
Different flavors for different folks !!
They are moist with plenty of flavor....
and they are UNDER $4.00 a loaf.
I can tell you that I keep several in my freezer at all times.
At Christmas, they tie little bits of RED and GREEN on the package
but you can add your own decorations.
They not only taste great...look how pretty they become on a
GLASS CAKE PLATE...(especially good-lookin' with BLACK and WHITE around :)

I've tucked these little LOAVES OF GOODNESS
into a cute little Christmas basket, nestled in green Christmas paper and a pretty tag attached.
I've added flavored tea bags and small packets of coffee..

....just remember...it's just knowing you thought of them that matters.
Just look around in your grocery store bakery and you
will see that there's all kinds of delicious and pretty items,
just waiting to go to some of your family and friends.
 THIS particular loaf is
LEMON CRANBERRY
and it is MORE than good....
it's lip-smackin' good.!!

There's
CRANBERRY ORANGE LOAF and BANANA NUT and CHOCOLATE CHIP....
and several more...and they are ALL good.
Sooo, i guess what I'm trying to say is
DON'T STRESS because you can't find time to do
excessive cooking and baking.
If you want a homespun gift, check your grocery stores...
bakeries tend to be more expensive for baked goods and
most aren't as tasty as these little loaves I've shown you.

I have received these or the awesome Christmas cookies from the
grocery store bakery and was just thrilled to death..
because they were tasty, because I received a Christmas hug from a friend
and tickled to death that I was on her FRIENDS Christmas list.

and YOUR friend will be thrilled...
O........ and don't forget THE CHRISTMAS HUG.
♥ ♥ ♥
You are going to have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS....
I just KNOW it.

Just file away all the gift ideas you will be getting between now and Christmas
and you'll be glad you did.

  7. Now this really is a great idea. And you could be buying them here and there and putting them in the freezer so you don't have to spend a bundle at Christmastime. You're a good little elf, BJ, thanks!

  9. That IS a good idea! I remember the days when I was working (and teaching at Christmas time is an anxiety attack waiting to happen...) This would have worked so well. Even now when I have more time than money I can get behind. Great thinking!
