This is my #2 time to join GOOD FENCES with Tex...
What a fun party.
I have a bit of a problem finding amazing fences or gates but...
I'm lookin'.........:)
THIS was our new fence at the olden house a few years back...
West Texas had good rains that year and the lawns were so green...
and THE ROSE OF SHARON
OUT-DID THEMSELVES....
...they made the fence look mighty fine.
Adding a really cool potting bench, plenty of pretty flowers and a mirror
and birdhouse to THIS section of the fence gave that fence
THE BIG HEAD...!! :>)
...and, for SOME reason, this photo of a section of an olden fence,
knot-holes and all....coupled with that amazing TEXAS BLUE SKY,
is one of my favorite photos.
The rust-encrusted hammer takes on a regal air......
and I love it all.
Be sure and don't forget to make an appointment
for your annual
MAMMOGRAM...
The fence withe the Rose of Sharon bushes is beautiful!
ReplyDeletePretty snazzy!!! And a pink barbed wire fence...wow.
ReplyDeletelove your blooming and growing fences! i know you miss that potting section.
ReplyDelete:)
First time visit . . . I really liked and enjoyed seeing your "big headed" fence and the others too. I was especially drawn in to the head photo and "girls just wanna have fun" . . . off I go for a "sassy' kind of day . . .
ReplyDeleteYou did an excellent job on your second fence. I like all the various shots very much. Neat one of the hammer. EMBEDDED will not work for me. Something on the blog set up or something is out of order and I have no idea what it is.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great. Liked them all. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeletesecond photo, WoW, PoW, i would love to duplicate that....it is gorgeous!! great slections for today!!!
ReplyDeleteOh this is magazine worthy! Love that rusty hammer photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat contributions this week!
ReplyDeleteThe hammer shot is great. Thank you for visiting my Tequesquite fence.
ReplyDeleteLove your fence! I think I like the hammer hanging off of it the most though! Love you for supporting breast cancer and mammograms. Early detection is key. It is the only reason that I got off as easy as I did with my cancer.
ReplyDeletelove the pink wire....
ReplyDeleteNice fences!! And I love all the red in that second photo. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteYour fences are lovely! The photo of the hammer hanging on the fence is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, bj...I absolutely love them all but I really love that section of the old fence with the knot holes!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a gigantic rusty hammer!
ReplyDeleteI love that first and the next to last shot...probably the next to last shot best of all.
ReplyDeletethe rose of sharon trimmed up so nice against that fence and of course I like that rusty hammer photo...
ReplyDeleteYour fence was beautiful! I love the pretty flowers and I really love the red in your second shot!!
ReplyDeletethe hammer reminds me of all the tools left in my backyard. Rust comes quick.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous photos my friend! Love the sunshine shining down on the fence...and the hammer! You have an eye for a perfect shot like this one! Enjoy your week! Have you hopped in the pool today? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices for your fence post. I love the Rose of Sharon.. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful photos! Gotta love the blue Texas sky. ;) I've tried to grow a Rose of Sharon (twice) and failed both times. I just could not get them to do well. Yours sure looked pretty though! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh yes those Rose of Sharon trees are fabulous with the fence. My mom was allergic to them so we had to cut them down at our old house where I grew up.
ReplyDeleteThe hammer is pretty cool and so was the barbed wire shot.
That's a beautiful fence line!
ReplyDeleteFab shot of the hammer hanging on the fence. Beautiful flowers by that fence. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteNice pics. I have always loved fences that have some sort of flowering plant along them. That rusty hammer is a strange but great find. (I love taking photos of old rusty stuff ---often go to car wrecking yards to find them.) I never thought I'd put" barbed wire" and "elegant" in the same sentence, but the simple, minimalist quality of the individual barb on that wire does make that photo elegant.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your fence with beautiful flower, very colorful♡♡♡ And loved the phrase "The rust-encrusted hammer takes on a regal air"; wonderful capture as well♪♪♪
ReplyDeleteSending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Pretty dressed-up fences:) Love that red potting bench! Have a blessed day dear B.J. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteAll mighty fine indeed, and that hammer totally nails it!
ReplyDeleteHello there bj! Love the olden fence and the blue skies! I finally got around to joining the party this week. Well I just so happened to have my Mammogram yesterday morning. We've been praying for two ladies related to our small group that just had lumps found...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Love the old wooden fence with the hammer hanging from it...and that beautiful Texas sky! Miss it, but I'm taking a trip back to see in this fall. Plus I need a good Tex Mex fix! :)
