Uh OOO.......

While rearranging a storage closet,
I stumbled across
that was lost in time at the bottom of the said closet.

Holy Moley....
how many projects can a girl handle...???

I'd LOVE to get started on THIS project...

...pretty sure I'm going to have to throw a hissie fit with myself
to get all these projects started and finished....

but THIS project is going to be sooo cute...

I'm probably going to have to battle with myself to get started on
all the projects for this new year....

some mighty luscious color here....

Each letter will be a different color...pattern....

some of my friends will remember these LARGE letters
in my olden kitchen..

well, the SUMMER HOUSE kitchen cabinets are built differently
and I wasn't able to use these huge letter...

so this time, I am going smaller letters...
but waaay fancier...
AND I just LOVE FANCY...!!

SPEAKING of cake....

I have a Vanilla cake in the freezer that we didn't need for Christmas...
all it needs is

my very favorite chocolate FUDGE icing....😍
Pink Sat.
Some times, a comment left here tickles me and I
always want to add it to my post...
bj, Cake helps everything! And as the amazing Julia Child said, "a party without cake is just a meeting!" Can't wait to see what you do with those letters! Linda

  1. Can't wait to see the finished project:). I know it will be DELICIOUS! Enjoy your day dear B. J. Hugs

  2. Yep- I am all about my 'projects' this year, too. Gonna get 'em done or get rid of 'em...that is my goal. Can't wait to see what you do with your letters...and oh...that fudge frosting looks luscious!!! Have a great Thursday- xo Diana

  3. Cake and coffee! It's cold here today, so I think that might be on my list of To-Do's as well.

  4. Definitely coffee, and if you would care to send a piece of that luscious looking cake up here, it will be gratefully accepted.

    God bless.

  5. I love the font these letters are in! This is going to be a darling project. I wish I could sit at your table sharing that cake and some coffee and work on it with you!

  6. Love the letters. Waiting to see them finished. Good luck on your projects. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  7. BJ, what a fun project! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. I don't think I could concentrate on a craft project just now, I'm too distracted by that cake!

  8. Looks like a fun project. Love all the fun papers.

  9. Your blog is always so nice
I'm going try to improve mine
I had Karen Valentine do some of mine but do not how it works
    So will be trying .

  10. Slather! This is the word that always comes to mind when I see your divine sweet treats! YUM-O! the fancy pants lettering!

  11. Love your posts! They are almost as good as a cup of coffee to me! (I REALLY love my coffe!) Have a great day!

  12. This is going to be fabulous! Love the letters and can't wait to see your new version. (I have a boatload of those WIPs hidden somewhere in my studio... which tells me something, I'm not sure what.)

  13. I do have a few projects I am having to keep reminding myself to do, but I guess I'm not hearing myself to good. I will try to get them done..soon. Love all your color and that cake looks really good although my doctor told me to cut back on sweets, I think I need to listen to her.

  15. bj, Cake helps everything! And as the amazing Julia Child said, "a party without cake is just a meeting!" Can't wait to see what you do with those letters! Linda

  16. Hi bj,
I want to have a piece of that yummo cake. Looks so delish. Cake makes everything right in the world! Happy Project starting for the new year.

  17. It's always fun to have creative projects to look forward too. I need to decide what to try first this year! Maybe I will crochet. Let me go have a cup of coffee first though! heehee!Lots of hugs, Diane

  18. Oh I can't wait to see your new letters! The shape is so cute and the papers will be perfect.

Love your new word for the year. ;)

  19. Those letters will be fun to see and such a positive command! Eat Cake. I like it. Instead of "put a bird on it" you can coin the phrase "put frosting on it"!

  20. Frosting and a bird! You have a favorite fudge frosting? Does it come in a can? I am not being cheeky...

  21. That's a really cute project. I like it.

  22. Hi bj ... looks like you are off to a good start for the new year. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the letters. I am sure that you don't have to tell others to "EAT" ... as you always have so much good tasking stuff going on.
    Happy New Year.

  23. You had me at FUDGE!!! I so wanted to make some real FUDGE this Christmas.....but it is never too late o make FUDGE! Soon!! Very soon!

  24. Perfect! I also think Eat Breakfast would be great, too! ;-D

  25. Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family, bj! I can't wait to see how you decorate and use those fancy letters in your kitchen. I ate way too many sweets at Christmas so no cake for me for a long

  26. Visiting your blog always makes me cheerful ....(and hungry). Its always full of little pretties and cool ideas. I love those letters!
Now, lets talk about the icing job you did on that cake :/.

  27. I love coming here, BJ. You always make me smile. :)

  28. That's a great quote. Love the cake in the freezer. RIght now I'm deciding if I want to make muffins or do the dishes. .... hmmmm

  29. Hi BJ,
Looks like you are doing the January Re- Org, that is sure what we have been doing here at the cottage. Great idea to frost the cake and with chocolate of course!! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome post with us at Full Plate Thursday. Have a great week and hope to see you again real soon!
