Do you know the Muffin Man....?

When ONE blogger, BETSY, tells you how good a certain recipe is,
you think..."I'll pin this and make them just as soon as I can..."
but.....

when another blogger, our sweet VEE, makes them...
and LOVES them....and does a post on them....
well...
it makes one sat (sit, sat, set ??)  up and take notice.

BLUEBERRY MUFFINS
OH HONEY.....

Of COURSE.....I just HAD to make them, too....I didn't wanna get left behind.

So, I pulled up the recipe...(sorry, YOU have to go visit Betsy for her entire recipe)

I used fresh, plump and juicy blueberries...
made the luscious batter that I couldn't keep from having a tiny bite of....

got out  a few cutie pie cupcake papers.....

...tender...moist...sugary tops...
O HONEY

and then, on the last batch, I looked over and saw.....

my Wild Vines BLACKBERRY MERLOT
Blueberries and Blackberries go together great in a FRUIT SALAD...

so I thought....

WHY  NOT..!!

Ok, adding about a 1/4 cup of this most delicious nectar of the vineyards,
I thought I'd better bring out the
MANLY CUPCAKE PAPERS.....
the TUFF ones..the weight-lifters...
the ones that chew...and spit....and scratch...
ones that could HANDLE THE TRUTH...

Yes, sir-ree-bob...
give these babies a drink or two of wine...

and they wanna STRUT THEIR STUFF..

Yep...a Blueberry Muffin with an Attitude...
and
OOO, so gooood.

Blue Monday

Tweak it Tues.

  31. Oh yes, I saw these scrumptious babies when Vee posted about them! Yummy, and I do need to bake some muffins, unfortunately all the blueberries I picked last summer are gone so I'll have to buy some. Every year I pick more and still eat them up by March. :-(
Thanks for reminding me about this recipe BJ, I'm sure I pinned it and thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday.

  32. Yes, I've made an almost identical recipe and they are great, BJ, but I've never used the Wild Vines in them. I know the Muffin Man very well and he's responsible for my muffin tops above my waist!

  35. Hmmmm, good! I cook with wine/alcohol ~ sometimes I even put it in the food! :) You're like me, you have a variety of cupcake wrappers. I collected so many when I used to bake for Alex and Abby. Abby was always my "taste tester". One time I took them a Blueberry & Lemon coffee cake as my son love it. Abby was about 6 or 7 and told me, "Mimi, we really prefer chocolate." Of course, that was her choice!

    Thanks for sharing!
