♥
I am spending waaay too much time over there....
but it's fun, fast and easy.
I hope you will come follow along as I post photos almost every day.
Today, I posted pictures of
MY LUNCH...
( I have a blogging friend, GLORIA, that used to tease me
a lot about posting "everything that goes in your mouth"!!)
Well, Gloria, dear heart....
my blog is mostly a FOODIE BLOG.
ANYway.....
I dearly love stuffed peppers...
My favorite green pepper is a
Anaheim.
To MY taste, they are so much more flavorfull than a Bell.
I stuff these with caramelized onions, salt and pepper,
and lean ground beef.
O HONEY
I like potatoes and a salad with my stuffed pepper.
These are Gold potatoes, just washed and sliced in large pieces...
they bake so quick....
I baked this pepper and potato slices in my toaster oven
and both came out perfect!!
I am really loving my little new toaster oven and have baked a one layer cake in it...
I keep the "top" of the pepper
to keep the stuffing inside the pepper a little better.
onions and meat cooked thoroughly before stuffing the pepper
makes baking pretty fast...
the pepper itself takes only about 20 minutes until nice and tender.
In that 20 minutes, the meat and onions are hot and ready to eat
This was also one of Mr. Sweet's favorite meals...
that fact made me enjoy my meal even more.
♥ ♥ ♥
I admit I missed him eating beside me...
but knowing I had a meal that he would have loved
just seemed to warm my heart.
Much love to all....

Will be visiting you on IG. I've been trying to figure it out, but so far just love to look.
ReplyDeleteYummy YUMMY!!! I love stuffed peppers! All your food looks like it belongs in a fancy cookbook photo spread!
ReplyDeleteI never got into it, that and Snapchat
ReplyDeleteAll the COOL KIDS are on Instagram these days!
ReplyDeleteYes we are!!!! :-)
DeleteI may try Instagram once I retire but between my Blog and my personal facebook page, I simply do not have the time for any more social media sites.....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
I can't deal with instagram. Between FB and blog, as Debbie said, and Twitter (though mostly I just surf it) I don't have the time. I don't see how people can blog, post, reply to comments every day and still have time to have the life to blog about! I admire them but I sure can't do it. Hard enough to visit regularly. I think Instagram is good if you just want to show your stuff and not have to worry about more involvement or getting to know the people who visit. But it lacks the intimacy and personality of blogs. But I wish you well with it. Might be just the ticket!
ReplyDeleteI have a love/hate relationship with IG. And yes, you can spend hours and hours on there...LOL Love the stuffed peppers...will have to try those for the hubster! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHave you figured out how to do stories on Instagram?
ReplyDeleteIt took me a long time and I don't always remember to do them, but they are fun too.
I do enjoy seeing you on IG too!
