These beautiful
ITALIAN FLORENTINE STACKING TABLES
aren't mine.
Nor, are these....
This set is just breathtaking to me.
I've been wanting a set of these magnificent, vintage tables
for ever and ever and ever.
and now I have the most beautiful ones.....EVER
...vintage
from the early 70's
and in PRISTINE condition.
Someone sure took great care of them......
and I aim to do the same ! !
You know how when you get something that you've wanted for sooo long...
you can't get anything done for going back in the room and looking at them ?
Well...
I haven't accomplished much of ANYthing today.
BJ they are beautiful. What a find. Enjoy my friend.
ReplyDeleteThey really are the MOST gorgeous ones I've seen. I'm so glad you got them...a little happiness to help you along! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty. And they make such sense spacewise. I sure could use those when I host book club or Cork Poppers and have way more people than food-and-drink surfaces!
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to tell you how much I appreciate your Marmelade Gypsy visits. Thanks for keeping on stopping by!
Those are gorgeous! So glad you found them. :)
ReplyDeleteBJ, I love those tables. They are in great shape, indeed. I think the gold will work with your checks . Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeletep.s. Yes I would keep looking at them too.
They are fabulous, bj!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you, BJ, I would have stayed with them too! They are so beautiful, so glad you found them.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

They are beautiful! I get the not getting much done. Where did you find them? Estate sale? Yard sale? Craig’s list?
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I know just how you feel. When I got my long wanted secretary desk I could not stop looking at it. A couple of years later, I still smile when I look at it! Hugs!
ReplyDeletefirst I've really noticed a stacking table myself, pretty neat design
ReplyDeleteThey are stunning and I love them. I know you will take such good care of them. So you enjoy them BJ and look at them all the time.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mary
Lovely. I am glad you finally got your tables.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
These are gorgeous! I inherited from the previous owner of the Greek house, a set of plain ol' boring stacking tables and I keep thinking I must dig out my paint brush and turn them into something a bit more interesting! You might just have inspired me to do that! hugs, J.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set BJ - I have similar except they are well-worn, scuffed and have plenty of patina - I love them and find them so useful.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them - glad things are OK with you my dear.

Beautiful tables! No wonder you want to keep looking at them.
ReplyDeleteI often hear the word "vintage," describing one thing or another. Usually with a year attached to it, as you did, such as the '70's or the '60's, whatever. I have to laugh. It seems like "vintage" should refer to something reeeely old, like before I was born or thereabouts. I have kids older than that. I guess that makes them vintage? Yikes! What does that make me? sigh. I guess, at almost 80, that would make me an authentic, genuine antique. Right? Hey, that means I'm "priceless," right? Of course, right. ;-) hee-hee.
Always good to read your posts!
Oh, my goodness, they are truly spectacular, bj! WOW!
ReplyDeleteThey are absolutely wonderful!
prettiest set of those I've ever seen!--love them and I bet you do too! So glad you got these. Which room did you put them in?
ReplyDeletevintage from the 70s. There was a time when I would have thought that was 1870 ;).
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you found them and that you are doing what you love so much; obtaining, arranging and enjoying.
Those tables are perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteWhen I get something new for my room. I end up rearrainging it 50 hundred times. I just paly and play. So yep, I know what its like to have new purties.
The tables are just beautiful bj. Glad you found them and that you enjoyed putting them in your special room. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteBeauties for sure💛 Enjoy your day dear B. J. Hugs

ReplyDeleteLove your tables BJ. Dang, those things look good to be so old! LOL! Just teasing BJ. However, I love the vintage and I find it so funny at how so many things from the 70's are coming back and people are loving it! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOH My Gosh I love those tables also and have looked for some that I wanted to pay the high price for.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting them. Ill keep my eyes out for a set
I know that feeling of wanting something like that for a long time. Love the tables.
ReplyDeleteHi BJ Your nesting tables look lovely. So glad you found them. I remember we had those in our home in the 60's. My mother bought them new at a place called The Florentine Shop. Classic never go out of style.
ReplyDeleteI used to see these everywhere. Now they are harder and harder to find. I only have one little table (the middle one) that has lost the rest of its nest.
