I am having a hard time focusing on getting my posts together.
♥
I start on one subject
and before I can get it all going along the same way,
something else pops in my mind.
♥
When I go thru these times,
I resort back to
BITS and BOBS...
less stress..
not a real story going on...
a good way to use some photos...

Oh, Honey...
this is the BEST recipe I've ever had for this dish.
I made this for our home fellowship dinner and
the pan was licked clean.
It has Mexican Velveeta Cheese which carries it over the moon.
I am sure, if you'd like,
you could just add this special cheese to YOUR recipe.

FEBRUARY 1, 2017
was such a gorgeous day...
no wind...
plenty of sunshine...
low 60's...
a perfect way to start the month of February off.
Such pretty weather, we took a short day trip...
The sky was so pretty and blue..
The sky was so pretty and blue..
We saw a small herd of deer...
they watched every move we made...
a beautiful lake with the bluest water I've ever seen..
LAKE ALLEN HENRY
Well....I always get a cone
but Mr. Sweet likes their
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard...
Then he can't eat it and drive,
so we have to stop at a roadside park
until he eats it all and then...
we are on our way home.
It was a really nice outing...
we enjoyed our day.
OOO........
and.......
Pink Sat.
Love all your Bits and Bobs!
ReplyDeleteI can see why it's hard to focus lately but these are wonderful ramblings. The black pepper corn bread sounds really terrific and I love your black and whites. I don't see you do a lot of those -- they're very striking. I hope to see more!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so purteeee! [squeal voice] .
ReplyDeleteI haven't had Dairy Queen in forever! My favorite is butterscotch dipped cone.

The spaghetti looks delicious BJ. Is that all you do?.....add chicken and melted Mexican cheese?

So happy you and Mr. Sweet could get a day away. Yummie foods too.

ReplyDeleteMexican Velveeta Cheese? I'm pretty sure we don't have that in Canada. I'll have to check next time I'm at the grocery store. We are so deprived up here, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBJ, You would make an awesome food critic...the way you describe food makes me want it. LOL I am going to poofing the pillows, to see your place. Hope you and Mr. Sweet are doing well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

DeleteEnjoyed your post on 'Bits and Bobs' and glad that you and Mr. Sweet made time to go for that beautiful drive. We have not done that in a very long time. Need to find a less traveled old back road and just drive it and see where it takes us ... just because.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Audrey Z.
Lovely photos and a great post. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI have surely enjoyed your bits and bobs this afternoon dear BJ . Now the chicken spaghetti does look yummy . Hugs and blessings , Cindy
ReplyDeleteBJ, I've almost forgotten how to post a comment on blogs! But just wanted you to know I love "SASS" also. I am a sassy chick and always have been. Some people don't "get" me but those who do love me. I cannot understand why so many people love me. Truly! I'm as close to "obnoxious" as you can get without having someone shooting me!
ReplyDeleteConnie
I don't think we ever got ice cream from DQ. I have gotten ice cream cakes from there
ReplyDeleteYour February looks lovely, such nice weather. We are getting snow again and will soon be having to dig our way out.
ReplyDeleteThat chicken spaghetti looks great.
God bless.
My kids love the Jiffy cornbread! Always a hit. Will have to add cheese and black pepper.
ReplyDeleteI came over from your feature on Poofing the Pillows and finally started following you. I always loved when I came across your posts, so now I will get them in my email! Love your bits and bobs. Sometimes there is so much going on but not enough of one thing to post about. I need to come up with something to write soon!

What fun I had reading this.
ReplyDeleteI've added cheddar cheese to cornbread but never black pepper--will have to try that! I also have not seen Mexican Velveeta cheese before either, but then I never looked for it.I like to make taco pie and I bet that cheese would taste good in it. Gla dyou and Mr. Sweet were able to have a nice drive and ice cream treat!
ReplyDeleteThinking about you and praying for you. It all looks delicious with your Bits and Bobs.
ReplyDeleteMMm that icecream looks so nice.I could almost taste it. I love going on little trips like that too. I think your spaggetti is a must try all cheesy and sticky.
ReplyDeleteLoved going along on that drive with yall! that sure was a pretty blue lake and now, after the photo----I am so craving one of those big white cold fluffy ice cream cones, extra large and extra tall and extra EVERYTHING! ha ha ha LOL
ReplyDeleteSo many good ideas! I loved seeing all the little things that have made up your life. Mama passed away last week. Thank you for being so kind to her. I am just so sad
ReplyDeleteOh my, that spaghetti recipe has my mouth watering just looking at it! Thanks for the recipe :)
ReplyDeleteI love Jiffy corn bread mix. Earl and I actually spent this weekend in the little town where it is made, Chelsea, Michigan. I'm a bit surprised that you use it, it's a sweet cornbread, which I LOVE but I'm a northern girl and I always heard the south likes their cornbread with no sugar. It's mighty good stuff though!
