The roses here aren't doing as well as they should...
probably needing more fertilizer ....or something....
I keep meaning to plant a double KnockOut rose bush....
maybe this week.
I brought these pretties in today....
This one reminded me of a mouth and big, red lips.....and MAE WEST....
lol
Yep....
roses and strawberries = SUMMERTIME
Love, bj
Beautiful pictures and lovely roses!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
You summer looks fab - even if you have to buy the roses!!! Funnily enough we were just saying what a wonderful year it is for roses in the UK, must be all that rain!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week

Luscious Red! June is bustin' out all over with roses and strawberries.
ReplyDeleteSo funny, my first thought of that first rose photo was, that looks like big red lips, and then I read your caption. Lol. We are fighting the wretched little chipmunks for our strawberries. So far I have picked about a quart, and they have take one bite out of enough to make another quart. They don't even eat the whole thing! grrrr. I just bought some double knockout roses yesterday to plant in the front garden. Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteI've been making a lot of strawberry rhubarb compote lately. 'Tis the season, as you say.
ReplyDeleteGotta' go have me some strawberries, right now!!!
ReplyDeleteLucky we have some in the refrigerator!!!
Hugs,
Tessa
What beautiful roses. The strawberry dessert looks delicious. Summer time and the living is easy. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteMae West!!!!! You crack me up!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. My roses aren't doing so well either. The strawberries look delicious. I love summer.
ReplyDeleteThe dessert looks so good. Love strawberries anyway I can get them. Love roses too, but our wild deer love them too, so I don't bother to plant them. Most knock-out rose bushes are real showy. Good luck with your rose garden.
ReplyDeleteYou have made me hungry. I'm sending Steve to the produce stand for strawberries and I'm making shortcake while he's gone.
ReplyDeletePretty colors. Love strawberries
ReplyDeleteCindy
Pass me a plate of strawberry shortcake pretty please...
ReplyDeleteWell BJ your roses and strawberries are beautiful! My knock out roses do not seem to be doing as well this year for some reason and we have slapped some fertilizer on them! But yep you are right....Roses and Strawberries say SUMMERTIME! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHii!! I'm so glad that we are reunited. The blogosphere can be a real big place. Those flowers are gorgeous!! Be careful with the fertilizer. My husband overdid it and burnt out part of the lawn.
ReplyDeleteLove strawberries, love the color Red, love roses and guess what BJ you are loved too.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Vera
I love strawberries
ReplyDeleteLove those strawberries! Nothing like them!
ReplyDeleteIt's still spring until the 20th, stupid calendar should know it's hot as s@#% outside.
ReplyDeleteYour roses look lovely.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
