for all the warm wishes for Mr. Sweet's birthday and our anniversary.

I've been working around inside the Summer House
because it's been waaay too windy to work outside...where I'd really LIKE to be.
I am so ready to play with my potting bench...
this is the way it looked 3 years ago, before
THE BIG MOVE..
but that pretty red has faded and I have the beautiful red spray paint to bring her back to life...
if only the
West Texas
winds would work with me.....
So, in the meantime, I've been
cleaning
re-arranging...
inside the Summer House
and that's all I can do for now.
I've enjoyed many new flowers and plants inside that I'll move outside a little later.
These were for our 56th anniversary.
♥ ♥ ♥
Today the wind settled a bit and....
We loved loved loved every single drop and it's still cloudy
so we are hoping for more rain thru the night.
I haven't been cooking a lot lately....
Pretty pitiful lunch, hu.....

ReplyDeleteand all your spring plantings . . .
Looking springy and wonderful!
I went out and bought a cast iron oven-proof skillet and all the "fixins" for making a German pancake with your recipe. Now all I need is a quiet evening with no other demands on my time to give it a whirl! I'll keep you posted!

Have a nice day
We had a freeze recently which is strange for April. Probably killed a lot of plants
ReplyDeleteBright and cheerful as always despite the wind. Thanks for sharing. Today I am thankful for sunshine and the promise of climbing temps.
ReplyDeleteBJ, I am with you I can hardly wait to get outside. Here it has been more the cold than the wind keeping us from working outside.... In fact the weather people are hinting more snow could be on the way later this week.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I have been watching about the weather! Hope it all gets better and you can get the spray-paint can going:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteBJ, I love your plants and I have been wanting out to play too. We should be able to finish my pansies by this weekend. Spring has been fickle this year. Hope your son is still recovering nicely. He's in my prayers. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

I should grow some Texas Bluebonnets here since I love them so much. We've got high winds and on and off rain. So no planting yet, but soon!

Linda
It has been windy here also and we got rain almost 2 inches day before yesterday. It is cloudy and they say we may get more rain today. Your lunch looks good. Love your plants. Hope the wind stops so you can get out and spray paint your potting table. Prayers are still with your son. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteLovely puttering. I don't think lunch looks so bad. A little yellow/orange but I bet it tasted good.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here today. I nice little soaking rain. 'Cept I was on my way out to Big Lots for Blue for the patio and the ACE next door for a can of Blue spray paint and it's too wet. I would definately melt!

ReplyDeleteNothing ever comes out of your kitchen using the term "pitiful" and I think it's a delicious lunch.
Continue to take care, full blown cooking will be back soon enough…….
Love the potting bench...that is just what we need. I don't have a window that would work for bulbs...but I sure appreciate yours! The bulbs are certainly lovely!
