Clouds.....

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” .....JOHN LUBBOCK

Enjoying the summer day under my pergola, I watched the beautiful white clouds
gathering in that Texas blue sky...

All at once, they started turning GRAY....hoping it rains....

We always need rain out here in West Texas...
but I'm so so sorry for the people in Louisiana.
Another kind of CLOUD....
of which I have absolutely NO IDEA what it is....or does...or ANYthing..
MICROSOFT CLOUD

Cloud computing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cloud computing metaphor: For a user, the network elements representing the provider-rendered services are invisible, as if obscured by a cloud.
Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand.

OOO...
and speaking of
CLOUDS....
♥ ♥ ♥
...ever heard of CLOUD BREAD...???
meee, either...
until NOW.

 ...almost NO carbs

 They make a fantastic sandwich....
Mr. Sweet gave his stamp of approval.

If YOU are watching your carb intake...
and want nothing WHITE, so are skipping
any thing white in the kitchen...
meaning NO bread...

then I hope you will give these egg "buns" a try.

This was my first time to make them and when I make them again,
I know to beat those egg whites a little more...a little fluffier will
make the "bun" a little thicker.

They aren't BREAD....
they are made from eggs and so light, you'd think
you are eating cotton candy....
but they are tasty...and so FUN.

Be sure to let me know if you try them...
and if you like them...

LOVE, bj

OOPS....I forgot to add my mosaic photo.
Sorry, Maggie

  1. The grate adds a nice effect but makes the sky look like it's in jail!

  2. Your cloud pics are gorgeous and I'm so happy your area is getting rain. As usual, we are getting a ton. Go figure.

I'm back on the low carb program and this sounds perfect. You take what you can get when you cut out all that white stuff. My son lost 40 pounds in 2 months and he is adamant about keeping it off. He might just appreciate having his luncheon meat and cheese on this. Thanks!!!!

  3. Beautiful clouds . . .
Our white clouds turned grey . . . skies turned grey . . . and the rains arrived.
    A full day of rain . . .
I need some of your bread to go with the soup I am making tomorrow . . .
    Cooler weather arriving . . .

  4. bj, how nice to see comments from you on my poor old blog! I keep waiting for the urge to blog again but so far nothing. Yes, the fires are near me. Straight up the freeway..and into the mountains..sometimes I can smell the smoke. Not a good thing to smell. Those poor firefighters in this terrible heat. Yep...California is burning again this year. The thought of the animals always upsets me.
I loved your cloud picture...that's one of my favorite subject's...clouds! Love the song too.
    Those buns look fantastic....
