I spend a lot of time in my dining room and kitchen..
it's a favorite area of the Summer House
with so much natural light flowing in thru 2 sets of French doors
and the 5 large windows.
The plants think this is a GREENHOUSE...
they are all doing so well.
...just take a look at the fern on the floor...
it's so healthy and green and......growing !
"SWEET AS sugar"...a sweet gift from sweet grand, COURTNEY
New sconces from Kirklands that I really love.
I use a LOT of PIONEER WOMAN'S recipes and I
LUV her pretty cookbooks.
I am going today with my girl, STACY LEIGH....
we are heading to a great place not too far away
that has SHOP after SHOP after SHOP.....
a great time to go and I just know we will find lots of fun things
for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.
I have a little bit of extra money (if there IS such a thing)
since I sold a bed we no longer needed....
sooooo.....
hoping to find lots of goodies for all the stockings
that will soon hang
by the chimney with care.
which reminds me that I want to show you this adorable stocking
from JOHANNA GAINES
Your home looks so pretty! I always love your black and white touches. I'm starting to shop for stocking stuff also!
ReplyDeleteBJ your home is gorgeous and your plants are amazing . . . I wish I had a green thumb, but when it comes to house plants, I have zero talent. It is a true sin for me to even bring one into our home, because I can not make them thrive. Outdoor garden plants are another story . . . they love me. I think it's all the manure I spread, LOL. I pinned that little sign "Please Close the Gate" . . . we need one like that. So, if you don't mind, I'll be copying it to hang on our front gate. Every now and then the Fed-Ex or UPS puts something on the front porch and forgets to the shut the gate. I'm afraid that our little Butchy will get in the road. Many of your neighbors have lost dogs to the road through the years and we don't want to be one of them. Well, I have certainly wagged my tongue a bit here . . . but once more, beautiful home and I love the black and white checks . . . have fun Christmas shopping.
ReplyDeleteConnie :)

ReplyDeleteLove the sconces and your pretty room- love all those pretty plants, too. Mine are still outside as summer is still sticking around. It won't be long until I have to de-bug and bring them in, but I have no place to put them. Heading into a sad holiday time (first without my mom) so I am trying to think of new and different things to add to old favorites to change it up a bit. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking amazing and you have made everything so inviting and comfy there bj. We don't have enough light to grow much indoors, but I have started two amaryllis which hopefully will grow and bloom for the holidays as we plan to be at home this year.
