Hot Cocoa Bar....

I love
 HOT COCOA BARS....

 ...isn't this the cutest
Hot Cocoa tray...

I won it in a Silent Auction at Deed's Band Concert last month.

It came with these two adorable
Gingerbread Boy Christmas cups and packets of Hot Chocolate.

Sooo...
I've set up a station for my family to make themselves
a cup of hot chocolate on Christmas Eve, when we all gather
at the Summer House.

along with Lemon Loaf and Banana Bread
Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake
fruits
cheeses
and what else, Heaven only knows,
there will be some of my favorite cookies...
FRENCH PURE BUTTER COOKIES...
(they aren't real sweet...just perfect with cocoa or coffee...or both)
I haven't made up my mind if it's the COOKIES I love
or the darling Frenchy box they come in...ha
Now, what in the WORLD can I do with cute, empty
frenchy cookie boxes ??
♥ ♥ ♥
I did indeed see Santa on the
POLAR EXPRESS
train ride a few yrs back....

Stacy bought tickets for she and I and the 4 kids at different times over the last few years.

Every single child should be able to go on this magical journey, down the rail road tracks, dressed in favorite Christmas pjs,
drinking Hot Cocoa, seeing Santa and the elves...

MAGICAL WONDERMENT !!

I have a passion for beautiful Christmas mugs....

and buy most of them in thrift stores...
you can find some of the CUTEST....

I really enjoy my 2 sets of red flatware from TARGET...

especially thru the
Christmas holidays...

 I will add bowls of
 marshmallows...
white chocolate chips...
peppermints...
even Bailey's Irish Cream...
(a splash in a cup of cocoa is heavenly)
for our cocoa...

TRUER words were never spoken...

♥ ♥ ♥
is the BEST place to be for the holidays.

  3. Today is definitely 'a hot cocoa kind of day' atMuldoon. Fifteen degrees and very little increase expected. But that's o.k. the snow will stay for family arriving from Tennessee tomorrow.
Thank you for your 'warm' post.

  19. BJ, This is the second blog I have seen today about cocoa bars. This is very tempting , with all those wonderfully sweet extras. Our Emma likes having a cocoa bar during the holidays. Love your framed sign, the tray and those pretty cups. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  20. Your Christmas mugs are so fun! I have a set too and we always love bringing them out. Most holiday kitchen stuff is just kind of a pain to have to weed out each year and stow away after Christmas, but the mugs get used so much and just feel so festive. The tray you got is just darling too.

  21. What a GREAT tray!! I love that you won it. I have our hot cocoa mix all ready for the grands here. Our temp today is a HIGH of MINUS 10 degrees F with wind chill factored in. Horrible weather and the wind is howling around the house-blowing snow off the bay towards the house. Cute box- I am sure you will figure out what to do with them. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week- xo Diana

  26. What a wonderful idea. I have a coffee bar/tea station, but should add the hot chocolate for the season. So many festive add-in's, like peppermint sticks and marshmallows. Really fun tray to use.

  34. I think everyone's in a hot cocoa mood due to the temps everywhere! The tray is perfect and everything looks so good! I love Christmas mugs too...or really any. I should photograph some of mine one day. :) I do have to say that some are "missing". There were so many people helping with my move and you know everyone tries to put things in a convenient place. It's kinda like looking for Easter eggs at this point! I'd go for the Bailey's for sure, coffee included.
