Simply perfect---simple and sweet, and shining with love, both towel and sign. Were you, in Texas, like I was in Mississippi, raised to call those "fruit jars"? No matter what was canned in them---"Run out to the Fruit House and get me a couple of those fruit jars of butterbeans," is a lasting memory of my childhood.
ReplyDeleteThey've come to be a sweet symbol of past and present, elevated above their humble beginnings when filled with flowers on a kitchen table, or beside the glider on a shady porch. Wrapped in burlap and chic twine, they take a rightful place at a wedding on a lawn, gracing such an important occasion as grandly as a Waterford filled with lilies. I do LOVE Fruit Jars!
Best to you way over there!!
rachel
Happy WEEK to you!
