I'm feeling better every day...
I still have 3 more days of meds and then I should be ready to go dancin'..
GREEN is one of my favorite colors...
he was 1 in December and he not only walks all over,
he climbs, too....
We eat a lot of GREEN salads around here...especially as the weather turns warmer...
and I drink a lot of Southern Sweet Tea..
love it....
I really have to MAKE myself drink more water and less tea...
but, I sure do love it.
and, boy, do I love PEANUT BUTTER in little CELERY boats...
one of my favorite snacks in the world...
delicious with a green salad, cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of
Blue Cheese Crumbles...
ummm
I'm not big on salad dressing but sometimes, I like a little pocket of
HONEY MUSTARD to dip my cracker in....
I still have 3 more days of meds and then I should be ready to go dancin'..
GREEN is one of my favorite colors...
actually, I love all natures colors.
♥
right now, the small greenhouse is totally full of plants
about to be transplanted outside in a raised garden bed.
so I've got a lot of little starter plants going on in the summer house.
this one above is for a friend....
The spring sunshine coming thru all the windows in my dining/sun room
surely is giving my little starter plants a "shot in the arm"...
they are all growing like crazy...
yep, even those fauxs in the foreground seem to be growing....:)
so many different shades of green...
dark...light...bright...
...pleasing to the eye
...new growth
and speaking of GROWTH....
great-grandboy, GRAHAM, in his cute green Ninja shirt...
with his mama, MICAH.....
aren't they both so cute

If you have a complete set of salad bowls and they all say Kool Whip on the side, you might be a redneck.

HONEY MUSTARD to dip my cracker in....
I've had Cheez Whiz on celery but never tried peanut butter on celery -- I should get some of both and live a little, eh?
ReplyDeleteYour little Graham is totally adorable, BJ! I think green is great too and your I really enjoyed all the green in your post. That salad looks really good. It is nice to see that someone else, besides me, is crazy for black pepper too. I'm so glad you are feeling a lot better!
ReplyDeleteLove peanut butter on celery! My mom would make that for us....nice memory!
ReplyDeleteBJ I love how you nuture everything. From inside the greenhouse to inside your home's heart - the kitchen to your table you nuture and know how to enjoy life. Sweet little Grand. Rest and feel stronger tomorrow.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Vera
Hugs BJ and keep getting better every day. Loved reading/seeing your post today. Sweet little great grand.

Your green photos are all fantastic! Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteGraham is a little sweetie! I'll bet you just want to hug him all the time!
ReplyDeleteBJ there are many things I like about your blog posts, but I especially like the food. You make everything look so good. I am a big fan of peanut butter - I like it on celery and on apple slices....well, just about on anything at all.
Good Morning, Texas Girl!!
ReplyDeleteI see you are just perkin' along, with little ones and bright spots all over the house from your sure, deft touch with colour and line, and those salads!! We're GREEN anything people, and what a scrumptious plate that is---several of my favorite things in the world (especially now, bleu cheese, though I thought I just disliked it all these years. Caro kept trying different kinds on our cheese plates, and now I'm absolutely addicted to BelGioioso Gorgonzola in the pretty teal foil wedges---a bit salty and rich, and when Chris has his Peanut Butter Boats (extra crunchy, please), I like mine filled with cottage cheese and the bleu, with sometimes just a thought of Lawry's across the tippy-tops of the swirls.
You just keep on keepin' on with all this fun stuff---you're my first BRIGHT of a lot of mornings. I just noticed your Followers number---you've hit Fahrenheit 451---the igniting temperature of paper---and it's quite apropos, cause you just blaze off the page.
love and,
rachel
ps Just noticed you've got the little flowery napkins---I've got those and the cloth to match just waiting for the Easter Lunch table! GMTA, Sweetpea!

ReplyDeleteGraham is as precious as the rest of the family, you are one good lookin' bunch! I love green too. It's probably one of the reasons I love Spring so much. The shade of green as the trees leaf out in Michigan is magical.
ReplyDeleteBJ, Little Graham is adorable , with his cute mommy. Wow, they do grow even when we keep squeezing them down. LOL P.B . is a good snack food. I like it too. I love the idea of raise garden beds. Less squatting that way. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

I forget about peanut butter on celery but I eat it on my apples all the time. Your salad looks yummy & I haven't had blue cheese crumbles since hubby got sick & had to cut back on fat & salt. I think I shall put them on my grocery list right now!
That little one is PRECIOUS:) I know that you enjoy your time with him! Keep feeling better dear B.J. The pollen is in my throat today, gotta pay for those blooms I guess! Have a blessed day, HUGS!

Only you, dear bj, could put peanut butter on a piece of celery and photograph it and make it look delicious! I love your style. Glad you are feeling much better. Now I'm off to use your search button to find the pillow slipcovers you posted about once upon a time. I need to do some spring sprucing up around heah! Happy Easter!
