Spring is trying really hard to come to West Texas..
80 degrees some days...
wind blowing like crazy most days...
I am looking forward to SUMMER...
I love blueberry muffins...
Well...I love muffins, PERIOD..
...and there's nothing much more fun than having adorable
cupcake liners/papers to use when baking them.

CUTENESS...
This time, I used a Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffin mix,
water
a bit of Vanilla (always)
and sour creme...
and, I learned a few years ago to bake my muffins in plain
cup cake liners....
the liners always turn brownish and lose color after baking in them..
When I get ready to take photos of foods I've made, I look around my house for some cuteness of some sort to make my photos a bit more interesting...
Since I am using BLUE as my theme,
I chose this little box I bought several years ago...
I filled it with green...
then chose this beautiful little plate that belonged to my mama
to put the muffins on for their
PHOTO SHOOT.
See how pretty they look.....all poised......and pretty things around them.
much prettier than just on a plate and nothing else pretty to look at. :)
Mercy me, these were good...
all warm and pats of real butter, melting into the beautiful blueberries.
I was singing BLUEBERRY HILL between bites...

(and the pats of butter thoughts inside the warm blueberry muffin!)
Good morning my sweet sister friend, I am definitely smiling this morning when I saw your post and many others joining in for Blue Monday. I am so encouraged to get back to Blogging and visiting my dear friends that mean so much to me. Thank you so much for your kind comments on Pink Saturday and today.
ReplyDeleteYour post is awesome and perfect for Blue Monday. As always, it is so pretty and the blueberry muffins made me hungry for a big bite right now. I love your mom's plate and the blue box of greenery. Very clever you! I have my muffin papers in a jar just like yours. They are on my counter and always getting comments about how pretty they look. "Thanks to you' I copied your idea. I also have used the recipe book often.
Thanks for all you do bj. I am so glad you are my friend.
Love,
Jeanne
Hi bj! I have a package of Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffins too. I might make those tomorrow morning.I can not get enough rest with this first week of Daylight Savings time. Thanks for the share. I have a Ball canning jar filled with lots of paper cupcake liners. I recently bought square and round silicon liners too. I was doing some fun recipes from Beachbody and they have a great breakfast egg cup recipe except the paper liners makes it stick! Sigh! My brand new muffin pan does not want to get icky from egg cups so I am using the silicon ones. Always fun to see you here and thanks for the recipe to makes those muffins tastier. Have a great week. xoAnne
ReplyDeleteYours would be so much better. I just buy the package kind and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI know the muffins were delicious. Love the blue box with the greenery in it and your mother plate so pretty. Have a blessed day. Madeline
