Autumn....
such a beautiful season.
OCTOBER is the best. ♥
OCTOBER is the best. ♥
Three little wire baskets with wooden handles (I know...they are hard to see)
hold WHATEVERS for the current season.
...the tiniest basket holds the cutest little OWL...
...3 baskets full of 70% off items from MICHAELS...
"Oh, Marilla," she exclaimed one Saturday morning,
coming dancing in
with her arms full of gorgeous boughs,
"I'm so glad I live in a world
where there are Octobers.
It would be terrible if we just skipped from
September to November, wouldn't it? Look at these maple branches. Don't
they give you a thrill--several thrills?”

These 3 baskets are for the front steps....
but not today...
the wind is blowing at such a gale.
My baskets
OF AUTUMN
might end up taking a dip in the pool.....
A 3 yr old wreath for the bedroom door....
I love mirrors.....
I love reflections.....
I love OCTOBERS.....
When I finish with the OUTDOOR wreath I am putting together,
I'll be sure to show you...
Why, yes......because we ALL love a pretty wreath.
(pls. don't expect TOO much....
I am talentless when it comes to working with my olden hands..
but I love to give it a try every now and then....)
Autumn always makes me hungry for cobblers...crisps...fruit pies...
An Apricot Bar, a mix from the groc. store,
with a cute cup of hot tea, in front of a fire,
be it gas logs, real logs or candle logs or....
with just a grouping of candles,
is soooo good for the soul.

Hi there BJ. Your October looks so festive. I love all your fall touches
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very festive October, love those logs with candles.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great deal on those cute fall things! The trees are ablaze here and I am loving lighting my cades in the evening again. I sure wish I had a pretty fireplace like you, I would be having my tea and treats in front of it on these chilly nights :)
ReplyDeleteYou're all looking all festive at your house and on your blog. You should be a blog designer...seriously. I love the Halloween decorations you have on your page. I wouldn't have any idea how to do that.
ReplyDeleteGoogle the Betty Crocker Apple Crisp recipe. It's so quick, easy, and delicious. :)
Bj, I love your fall decorations. I do love to see a wreath on someone's front door. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Pretty fall decor. I love that little owl. I know your wreath will be beautiful. We had some rough weather here in Dallas and still more to come. Be careful!
ReplyDeleteIt finally feels like Fall might be on it's way to Central Texas - lots of rain in the forecast and gloomy skies. I am going to put together a pumpkin chocolate chip bread for my folks to enjoy tomorrow morning while I am at work. That, and some scented candles will help clear the gloom today!
ReplyDeleteFall is here. The leaves are falling and some have put on their colors. I love your wire baskets that owl is so cute. I hope you enjoyed your apricot bars. Oh yes I love your wreath on the bedroom door. Have a blessed day. Madeline
