To Andrea and Bailey....

Our girls didn't win their game....
so they ended up 2nd in Regional...
and they had such a great season.

They are all disappointed...they so wanted to try for State Champions...
we wanted it for you, dear Andrea, Bailey and all the Idalou Lady Cats.

OF COURSE, OUR GIRLS WANTED TO WIN but since they didn't,
we are all pulling for the team that won....SHALLOWATER, TEXAS.
We love you girls and are so proud of you, Andrea and Bailey.
 Love, Memaw & Granddad

  3. BJ, I know we were pulling for them to go further, but 2nd in Regionals is an accomplishment. Maybe next year. We get really involved with the kids and the excitement of the game. Stay safe and warm. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  11. They are certainly winners to even get that far in the tournaments. These can be so rewarding, but also so disappointing.

  14. I like your attitude! Second is great. I'd say that the girls had a successful, wonderful season. We talk a lot about winning and losing around here and how there is a right way to win and a right way to "lose." Looks as if your family has learned the lessons well.

  16. I've lost a championship game before in baseball, it was very bitter at the time. But I doubt any girl on the team will look back many years later with regrets.

  17. Too bad they could not go one step further, but they should be congratulated for getting as far as they did. Win or Loose ... they are champions.
Glad you got to cheer them on that far.
    Hugs,
    Audrey
