...a hogepodge of Bits & Bobs & Blues

I am posting BLUES all this week in memory of our good blogging friend,
SMILING SALLY...
she loved the color blue and to my memory,
I don't think she ever missed hosting her infamous,
BLUE MONDAY link party.
Here's more blue for you, Sally, altho we all know that
YOU are in the most beautiful BLUE of HEAVEN.

HODGEPODGE...noun
meaning a
mixture, mix, mixed bag, assortment

I love using stacked books for display...
especially loving these color combinations.
there is no telling how long that bottom book was there, upside down...*heavy sigh

I've put my faux palm back on the mantel...
( for some reason, a photo like the one above always reminds me
of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall...something about PALMS...)

I hung a little sign on the shutter knob...

Out came my three little CANTON BLUEBIRDS...

and speaking of BLUE...

this FRESH SKY AIRY CLOUDS candle by Febreze
is my favorite of all eliminating odors candles.

Now, SOME people may accuse me of choosing this candle
for it's luscious aqua color....
♥

 but, REALLY....
it has a wonderful scent, erases bad odors in the room..
Oh, and by the way,
have I shared this amazing dip recipe with you..?

BACON BOMB DIP

It is so good, I can just eat it with a spoon.
I hope you will give it a try the next time you want to get raves over
what you've brought to the party.

Ya'll have a wonderful day,
xoxo, bj

  9. The last part made me cry. This was a fun post. I laughed about the books. I display books because I have more books than shelves! I enjoyed this. Oh btw you have to come over and check out the cookbook I just reviewed. You might need to put it on a Mothers Day wish list! Have a wonderful friday.

Way too much spam and people commenting that are stealing my space to post nonsense so.....no comments allowed.
So sorry but I have no other choice.
I love my blogging friends and most of all my family but these spam prone people are so rude and selfish have made my blogging not nearly as much fun..
