roses & strawberries = SummerTime

The roses here aren't doing as well as they should...
probably needing more fertilizer ....or something....

I keep meaning to plant a double KnockOut rose bush....
maybe this week.

I brought these pretties in today....

This one reminded me of a mouth and big, red lips.....and MAE WEST....
lol

Yep....
roses and strawberries = SUMMERTIME

Love, bj

  4. So funny, my first thought of that first rose photo was, that looks like big red lips, and then I read your caption. Lol. We are fighting the wretched little chipmunks for our strawberries. So far I have picked about a quart, and they have take one bite out of enough to make another quart. They don't even eat the whole thing! grrrr. I just bought some double knockout roses yesterday to plant in the front garden. Great minds think alike!

  10. The dessert looks so good. Love strawberries anyway I can get them. Love roses too, but our wild deer love them too, so I don't bother to plant them. Most knock-out rose bushes are real showy. Good luck with your rose garden.

  15. Hii!! I'm so glad that we are reunited. The blogosphere can be a real big place. Those flowers are gorgeous!! Be careful with the fertilizer. My husband overdid it and burnt out part of the lawn.
