THE TABLE ♥

Grandgirl, COURTNEY, wanted a pretty coffee table.
She searched Pinterest and other sites to get an idea of just what she wanted..

When she found it, she called on her Granddad and Dad to
build it......and she would help.
She'd also do the staining and painting.

SOOO...
memories were made.

THREE GENERATIONS...
Her Granddad, Court and her Dad
master furniture builders, if you ask me !
and"
a mighty good-lookin' threesome.

When she posted photos on her facebook, her words made my heart swell..
"With the help of these two I finally finished my coffee table project. I am so happy with the table but I am even more thankful for the time spent with Granddad and Dad! Very Special memories."

Didn't she do a magnificent job on the staining and painting ?
I can't remember the color stain she used for the top and the shelf beneath..
nor the name of the chalk paint for the base...
but they sure look great together.

Her dad.." can you carry one end to your pickup?"
Courtney, " You betcha."

So...there they go....

and I'm running behind them, trying to get a good shot of
the brands and the date on the underside.
The brands are ones her Granddad made  over the years...
his brand...his dad's brand
Courtney's brand
her dad, DAVID's brand...
and more that have special meaning for Courtney.

It turned out sooo pretty...and just what Court wanted.
She saw it and the instructions how to make it on PINTEREST.
Her dad did an awesome job on the cross pieces at each end...
I really love the design.

I love the metal corner brackets...gives the table another cool feature.

"One....two....three...LIFT"

Now, I have to say here that that is
ONE GOOD LOOKING TABLE...
and that blonde...
SHE'S MIGHTY GOOD LOOKING, TOO....

...the wind was blowing so hard...

Getting it all buckled in for the 2 hour ride to Amarillo...

"Bye, Courtney...when you get home and get it in your apartment,
put a picture of it on your FaceBook so we can see how good it looks".
"I will, Memaw...as soon as I get it all pretty, I'll send you a picture."

Oh, yes....lookin' goood.....
and so happy you got what you wanted, Courtney.
