A Cute Little Gift...

Our son, DAVID, and his family had a great vacation
in the sunny state of Florida last month.
They had not been there before and found a lot of great things to do and see.

When they came home, they brought me a cute gift in THIS...

I mean......how CUTE can a spoon rest be...???
So cute that I hated to "hide" it by the stove, putting a greasy spoon on it....

No sir....I had better plans for this little SILVER SEA HORSE.

Giddy Up, Little Candy Horse....

....a cute piece of faux turquoise coral...a great photo partner for a sea horse. :)

  1. It's neat that you put the candy inside. Also helps me understand how big the dish is.

  2. That's a wonderful idea turning the spoon rest into a candy dish! I agree that it is too cute to be used as a spoon rest. Great combination with the coral!

  8. BJ, You are right...that little horse is way to cute to keep on the stove. I like him as a candy holder or even jewelry holder. I would also recycle that cute bag...I always do any around here. LOL Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  23. I would frame that baby and hang it on a wall, no glass on course. Maybe put a fe shells or sea glass around it. It's too cute to be sitting anywhere!!
