♥ THAT CAKE...Part 2

Remember that cake I recently posted...
recently...like....yesterday.....or the day before...or 3 or 4 days ago....:)

I promised to come back and let you know how it tasted since I didn't taste it
until that night at our Home Fellowship gathering...

IT.  IS.  GOOOD.

Your choice of a CAKE MIX...
add an extra egg...
use melted butter/margarine instead of OIL....
milk instead of water...

Yes...we know those changes add MORE CALORIES...
but...I PROMISE you, your hair will NOT catch on fire
if you take in a few extra calories...
it just WON'T..!!

For SPECIAL occasions, when you want
LIGHT......  check
FLUFFY...check
MORE MOIST than you can imagine...check

then this is the cake ADD-INS for YOU .

So, I say......GO FOR IT....
you'll love it, I'm sure.

AND....

  I mean....after all ....
there's 4 EGGS in that cake.

  30. Well, your already know that everybody loves you cake ... I guess you will have to make a dozen of them so everyone can have a big slice.
It does look light, fluffy and more moist than most box cakes. Thanks for sharing your baking secrets.

  31. Your cake looks every bit worth any extra pounds I might gain.
Thanks for the tips on how to make a cake really good!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hello bj, I KNOW how good your cake was because i have done these add ons in a cake mix for a long time. Yes, the calories are worth it. Especially when we make it for a gang. Then we don't have to eat the leftovers for breakfast. You did know that ALL leftover dessert must be eaten for breakfast the next morning...didn't you??? Big smile here and I'm not kidding.

    Love ya,
    Jeanne
