Roses and Peppers ....What The Heck....

I've shown you my dried roses...both of them :>)
and now I want to talk about
RED PEPPER JELLY

One might ask....
"Why are you mixing jelly and roses all in one post ?"
Well, for one thing, I've fallen so in love with these two little roses that
I just keep snapping pictures of them...

 Another reason...
on this particular morning, I noticed....
my RED PEPPER JELLY and dried roses were just about the same color...

I do love this jelly on my pancakes..ummmmm

....even my coffee cup was blending right into the scene...

I loved it...

so here I am showing off my
COLORS......

  2. Looks good! My sister in law makes a pepper jelly that we like to put on cream cheese and crackers at holiday time. It always gets eaten right up!

  3. Oh you are surrounded by your beautiful reds.

  4. Well I liked the happy red pepper jelly and your little roses. My daughter used a pepper jelly poured over cream cheese at Christmas and it was good with crackers. Sounds like Kathleen Grace's sister in law must have done similar. Makes me hungry right now just thinking about it. My daughter used a spicy pepper jelly, which normally would have been too hot for me, but the cream cheese takes the pain out of it so I could enjoy the flavor.

  5. You have a wonderful eye for color. Your posts are always color coordinated. Mine look like a hodge-podge of color. Hmmmmm...I must ponder this.

  6. A lot of people don't realize that Red Bell Peppers are just Green Bell Peppers that were given much more time to mature

  7. Those are gorgeous roses, bj. I love them. I don't think I could eat the pepper jelly though- my tummy couldn't take it. xo Diana

  8. That sounds so delicious! Love the pretty roses, too! And red pepper jelly sounds good. Would love to taste that. I have loved Harry and David pepper and onion relish.... And my gramma had end of the garden relish... But yours sounds like a lil bite of summer. Yum!

  19. Love that your roses kept a good color. I don't have that much luck with mine. Your breakfast looks so good. I like spicy food, but not too sure about the pepper jelly.

  22. Oh that jelly sounds so good and the roses are fabulous. I had to laugh about your plant stand and plant and you replacing it with a tea cart. If you like the plant stand, keep it, I just get on a tangent every once in a while and run wild. Who knows, the plant may be back next week. haha
