Signs of the Time....

My sweet and long-time blogging friend, LYNN that rules over at HAPPIER THAN A PIG IN MUD
left a question in my comments on one of my posts.

She wanted to know if my

ONE WAY sign pointed to the SWIMMING POOL...????

I emailed her right back and said "NOOO......

but.....THIS ONE DOES...!!

The sun is so bright here, you can barely make out the pool out those french doors.

Speaking of the pool...
A grandgirl's beautiful black and white
GREAT DANE has so much fun playing around
the pool.

....her favorite place to get a drink.

Isn't she just beautiful...

those long, slender legs...

she has one brown eye and one blue....beautiful.

she's only about 8 months old so she is playful as can be.

The brown lab belongs to the twins...sweetest dog I've ever been around.

So, it seems that dogs and humans will share this beautiful pool
and all will have such fun.

Neither dog will get into the water...they just drink from it.

Thanks for coming by....

  6. The first pool party must be coming up soon! Those grandpups (great grandpups?) are beautiful. They must be good friends, too.

  7. That is such a pretty pool, you will have a great time this summer....doggies and all!

  8. My dog doesn't like water very much either besides for hydration. I literally have to pick her up and carry her to the bathtub when she needs a bath. Then as soon as we get to the doorway, she'll stick her paw out and cling to the door to (try) not get a bath.

  14. Pretty signs, and pretty pool! And is it safe for those dogs to drink pool water? Isn't it chlorinated?

  15. Hi BJ,

I fixed your link. Sometimes, it gets jammed when more than one person is trying to link in at the same time.

I love, love, love that pool! I sure wish I lived closer; I'd beg for a dip.

Now, about the granddogs. A great dane is a BIG dog! (I used to have a dachshund.) However, you say she's sweet. I'll take your word on that.

Thanks for being a good blogger/friend.

    Have a Happy Blue Monday!

  19. Maybe when the temps soar over 100 degrees the dogs will jump in the water to cool off!

  23. Cute dogs, I would be glad they didn't swim since then there wouldn't be dog hair in the pool filter.;-) Lovely pool, looks so refreshing.

  25. Boy that pool will look quite welcoming on a hot day. I'm surprised neither dog has gone for a swim but who knows what will happen in summer when the humans are in the water!

  26. You do not need the sign. Just follow the pup. I would love to sit and hang my feet in. Never owned a bathing suit.

  29. I wonder how long it will take one of the dogs to decide to take the plunge. Fingers are crossed they don't and your liner is saved! It's still too cold for swimming here but at least we don't need winter coats any more.
